CSM (Ret) Harold Hunt Sr.

April 24, 2017

It saddens me to learn of the passing of CSM Richard K.A. Price who also served as my CSM at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. For the past 30+ years, we have come to know this giant as an example setter, a soldier in the truest sense of the word, and I doubt if there are many men among our ranks who possess his depth in knowledge and high regard for others. His long service and dedication to the NCO Corps will be cherished always. The entire NCO Corps thanks everyone for keeping him and his family in your thoughts and prayers. There are many in the ranks that believe for every fallen sergeant major like him there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift God has given the Corps. Rest easy, sleep well my brother. Know the line was held, your job is done. Rest easy, sleep well. Others have taken up where you fell, the line has held. Peace, peace, and farewell
