Richard Story Obituary
Richard is preceded in death by his father, Francis Story, mother, Mildred Young and sister, Margaret McNelly.
He is survived by his darling wife, Carroll, sister, Katheryn Mauldin, brother, Michael Story, four sons: Richard Story Jr., Dean Story, Corey Harris and Toby Harris, and 4 daughters: Rhonda Johnson, Kristin Medford, Debbie Brickell and Wendy McKenna, also eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Richard was a prominent figure in the billiard community where he was beloved for his gentle teaching and good humor. His presence was felt in church and in pool halls and will be missed by both.

Richard was a great friend! I played pool with Richard for many years and I can truly say he was a gentleman in every way! We got along great and I miss hanging out with him! He is dearly missed! Joe

You and Carroll were very good friends to me.
Your laugh was contagious and the rest of your loved ones should know you'll be missed.
It's too late to tell you "thanks!" for being in my life, but I can tell your loved ones, here.
I appreciate the knowledge imparted along the way, too!
At least we'll all take comfort knowing you'll end up in a place where the table is flat, the balls are clean and round, & the sticks are straight and true!
