Eric, Patrick, Susie and families, I share your sorrow at the death of your dear dad. Our history is a long one and I always enjoyed and respected both your parents. And of course you kids have a special spot in my heart, too. I was ill and could not attend his service. I'd love to hear from you sometime. I am in the phone book, so give me a call. May you be comforted in your sorrow and rejoice in having such a wonderful dad and mom!

My deepest sympathies for your family. I had the opportunity of volunteering with Dick and his wife at MMC. Dick would always walk us out at night to make sure we would be safe. I guess I can delete his number from my phone. I will miss him deeply.

Dick brought expertise, direction, comfort, and empathetic but concise policy direction to the D-11 board as we created something from infancy. He was part of a tremendous team and guided us all. He was a bright spot in challenging times and always made us feel a greater sense of security...and that amazing smile! Thank you our own D-11 Dick Tracy. You made and continue to make a difference for our students, staff and community. Sincere condolences to your loved ones.

Eric & Patrick,
Your father was a great man, I have many fond memories of him from the time he was 8 years old when I first met him at a family picnic. My heart and prayers go out to you at this time. Love Aunt Joy

I worked closely with Dick over the years as part of gang intelligence. He was the nicest guy and very knowledgeable about both juveniles and gangs. He will be greatly missed. My prayers to his extended family and all law enforcement.

I had the pleasure of working closely with Dick at School District 11 for a few years and he was truly an awesome person that taught me a lot and had so much compassion for the young people. He will truly be missed. Dick, May you Rest in Peace in the arms of our Lord and Savior.

Dick was the greatest boss I ever had while working at Palmer High School. He was welcomed to speak at many Utilities facilities because of his great "Gang" knowledge. Dick will be greatly missed!!
