I had the pleasure of being Dick and Jan's computer guy back in the mid 90's. He was a guy I looked up to and had tremendous respect for. I was just a young kid in the USAF at the time. He was my hero! I am sad to hear of his passing.

In this world your servant heart touched many hearts, including mine. I will never forget the afternoon at WCC when no one was there to cook and you put your arm around me and said, "Well, Rick. What do we do now?" We smile, make dinner, and serve. Be well, my friend. Be well.

Jan ~
Greg and I have had heavy hearts after hearing of Dicks passing. You and Dick were such fun as we all gathered on the 'deck that Dick built' each summer on the deck at Barb and Joe's house. We send you our love and hugs....we hope to see you soon on our next visit to COS.
XOXO Greg and Joni Renn

Jan and Family - I am very sorry to hear of the loss of Dick. I think of him with a kind word and a smile on his face. I worked briefly with Dick at Westside Community Center during the transition from City operation to Woodmen Valley operation. Dick's enthusiasm and positive attitude often made me wish I were staying on staff. May your memories and family love bring you peace and comfort. Sincerely, Mary LaBrecque, Retired Preschool Program Coordinator
