i would do anything to be with you right now, youra big inspiration to me and i love you with my whole heart. you would be so proud of me, 13 years old. your always present and i never feel alone. i wish you where still here. i love you, your in a better place.

Suzette, to you and your children I want to extend my deepest sympathy. I flew one of Ricks first missions in the AF Reserve. A great guy, friend, husband and Dad. Many great memories of our time together. Wish I would have met you and your children on a happier occasion.

To the Thomas family,
My husband and I were so saddened to hear about Rick's passing. We are both flight attendants for American and I only had the priviledge to meet Rick one time, on a commuting flight. We were seated next to each other and I left thinking he was one of the nicest people I had ever met. It was probably around 4 years ago, when Suzette was getting ready to have their youngest child. You could see the love he had for his family as he talked about his kids, Suzette and the new baby on the way. I got off that flight thinking that this would be a family I would love to get to know better!! His warmth, friendliness, love for family and zest for life was all relayed to me in that short hour and a half flight. What an amazing man! Suzette, I have never met you but I am so sorry for your loss. I can tell you have a wonderful family to support you, as I met Rick's sister, Michele on her flight into COS. Mike and I wish you many blessings in the years to come and we're sure both of your personalities will shine through in your beautiful children. Dear Thomas Family,

It has been a privilege and an honor to have known and served with Rick in the US Air Force Reserves and to have worked with him as a fellow pilot at American Airlines. Rick certainly had an amazing personality that rubbed off on anyone he came in contact with. I will miss him greatly.

Dear Suzette, beloved children and Thomas family,
Dan and I are so very sorry to hear of Rick's death. We have had him on a prayer list in VT, TX, for the past year. The Lord will hold him closely and you And the children too. Suzette, although I have never met you, I have been lifelong friends with Annie, growing up with the Thomas family clan since we were all children. I feel I know you in a way with all the wonderful things she has told me about you and your precious family. Rick was an amazing man and brought happiness to all who surrounded him.
