Riley Siver Obituary

Riley Siver 10/28/86 - 03/04/06. The dictionary defines The Life Of Riley as Happy, Lucky, Living a Charmed Life. After all I've learned this year, I'm sure that's all still true for you, even on The Other Side. I still can't believe you died, Riley. But I know you're not more than a short breath away, so I don't need to tell you how loved and respected and missed you are. Or how awesome your hockey teams and your friends have been to us. It's all for you, Honey.... So keep shooting! HAPPY FIRST ANNIVERSARY IN HEAVEN, RILEY!!

Riley, I can't tell you how many times we have thought of you and your family over the past year. You have left an indelible mark on so many lives, especially for someone so young! I bet even right now up in heaven you are showing pee wee hockey players the finer points of the game and leading by example like you always do! We miss you and wish your family peace and comfort.

It's hard to believe a year has gone by. It seems like yesterday I saw you at the rink and got one of your terrific hugs and wonderful smiles. Andrew and I will never stop remembering how great it was just to know you, Riley. Andrew asked Tour Arena if he could referee the games at the tournament yesterday because he felt he needed to do something in memory of you, a really special friend forever.

Love,
Lisa & Andrew

Hey, Darlin...it's sure been a long busy day. Your team was awesome. I think they had you on their minds the whole day. They took good care of me and kept me busy too. You've had phone calls and messages and flowers...and I'm so tired. I'm really pretty glad this day is over. So goodnight, Honey. Sweet dreams. I love you, Riley......you know you sure do have nice friends.
