Rita Morrow Obituary

Rita Marlene (Mauser) Morrow a Colorado native born February 6, 1952 in Colorado Springs, passed away on December 4, 2012 at the age of 60 at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, CO. Rita was a beloved wife and adored mother not only to her son, but to her many pets. She was a resident of Colorado Springs, CO and Cheyenne, WY as a child with her parents John and Laurabell Mauser, and brother Gary Mauser. She married the love of her life Lester Earl Morrow in Las Vegas, NV, December 31, 1970. Les and Rita lived in Las Vegas, NV & Colorado Springs, CO. Rita worked as a Certified Nurses Aid for several companies and was honored to be a home nurse for her Aunt Vera Ceresa. She and her husband were actively involved in the Bulldog Club of Colorado Springs for many years. Rita is survived by her son Kendal Aaron Morrow, age 40, of Denver CO, and pets Joey, Corkie, Gabby, & Dickie Bird. Predeceased by her husband Lester Earl Morrow July 2006 and brother Gary Mauser. She will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2:00 pm, at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, Colorado Springs, CO, reception to follow. Arrangements entrusted to the direction and care of Swan-Law (719) 471-9900. Memorial donation or flowers may be sent to Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903.

I remember when the family lived just down the street. Kenny would come over to play with my kids. I visited with Rita and Les many times. Rita was a lovely wife, mother and person. Kenny I'm so sorry for your loss.
