February 2, 1947 - March 8, 2018
Robert "Bob" Charles Duke, age 71, died on March 8, 2018 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He fought a courageous battle from a rare brain disease.
He was born on February 2, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to Marvin and Helen (Copeland) Duke.
Bob worked in sales and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
He loved cars, traveling, his family, and his Lord.
Bob is survived by his wife, Janet Duke; son, Lonn Duke; two daughters, Marnie (Mike) DeYoung and Jana (Andrew) Martinez; three grandsons, Brandon Martinez, Parker DeYoung, and Spencer DeYoung; and his granddaughter, Jordan Martinez.
Bob is loved and will be greatly missed.
Visitation, 5:00PM - 7:00PM, Monday, March 12, 2018, The Springs Funeral Services - North, 6575 Oakwood Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80923.
Funeral Service, 1:00PM, Tuesday, March 13, 2018, First Presbyterian Church, 219 East Bijou Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.
Private Interment, Fort Logan National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory can be made to First Presbyterian Church, Deacon's Fund.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Dear Love of my life, We traveled many roads together. Over 52 years of giving strength, wisdom and companionship.I truly know the meaning pure love from you. I will miss you, your smile and your forever thanking me. You endured and fought a great battle without self pity. I Thank God you are free . Thank you for faithfully loving your wife and my Mama. Thank you for showing me your love and faith in God. Thank you for being my amazing Dad and Marn and Lonn's too. Thank you for being a wonderful father-in-law to Andrew. Thank you for the passionate and caring love of your grandchildren. You will be missed terribly, but I am so glad and thankful to know you are at peace! Praise God!! You no longer suffer and that brings so much comfort to my heart and soul.
