Robert (Bob) Forster passed peacefully at home on November 12, 2025 at 94 years of age. He was born November 6, 1931 to Robert and Helen Forster in Brooklyn, NY. He married Dorothy Kermode and had three children. Bob spent four years in the U.S. Air Force (1951-1955) as a combat cameraman; however, he spent most of his enlistment in Germany. After his service, the family moved to Florida where Bob worked at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station and was in charge of NASA and Air Force launch photography.
He was transferred to California as vice-president of Technicolor's Government and Industrial Division and was later promoted to President of Technicolor Government Services. The company was purchased by Pan Am and then later was acquired by Johnson Controls after which he moved the corporate offices to Colorado Springs.
After retirement Bob volunteered as a docent at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs where he met fellow docent, Geraldine Husser. They were married in February 2006 and have been married for 19 years.
Bob never met a stranger and was a wonderful storyteller. His love of golf offered opportunities to play in many Disney Pro-Am Tournaments in Orlando, FL as Technicolor had a great working relationship with Disney.
Bob is pre-deceased by his sister Patricia (Bob), his sons Jack & Tom, and grandson Lane. He is survived by his wife Geraldine, daughter Jeanne (Pat) Patterson, stepson Scott Husser (Luvinia), stepdaughter Andrea Husser, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Saturday November 22, at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Michael the Archangel, 7400 Tudor Rd., Colorado Springs, CO.
