Robert Fralick Obituary

Robert Ernest (Bob) Fralick, age 59, passed away at his home in Divide on October 26, 2009 of a sudden cardiac event. He was born: November 3, 1949 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Dr. E. Howard Fralick and Louise Croes Fralick who preceeded him in death. Mr. Fralick's family moved to Denver when he was an infant and he attended Denver Public Schools, graduating from George Washington High School in 1967. He graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 1971 and The McGeorge School of Law in 1975.After practicing law in Denver for several years, Bob opened his law practice in Woodland Park in May of 1983. He loved the mountains, hiking several Fourteeners over the years, traveling, photography and was a PADI Adventure Scuba Diver. He especially loved scuba diving in Hawaii with his son, Andrew. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan and Colorado Rockies fan, traveling to Tucson, AZ each March for their Spring Training.He was a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the Alumni Association of The McGeorge School of Law and the University of Colorado. Survivors include his wife, Marcy; daughters Kellie Fralick Hobbs (Lt. Col. Nathan) and children Katelyn, Makenna, Nicolette and Alexander of Papa, Hungary; Shauna Fralick Miratsky (Mark) and daughters Emily, Kyleigh and Meghan of Paola, Kansas; sons Christopher of Texas, and Andrew of Divide, CO; sister Karen Fralick Race (David) of Denver, and cousins Drew (Susie) and Doug (Leslie) Pattullo of Michigan. Visitation with the family will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Mountain Memorial in Divide, Colorado with a short celebration of life service immediately following visitation. Mr. Fralick was cremated. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the charity of the giver's choice in Mr. Fralick's name.
