Gosh, another year has gone on the anniversary of Bob’s passing. Still think of him often and had hoped for one more conversation.
I’m hoping all of his family is doing well and have survived the pandemic.

Another year has gone by since Bobs passing. Still think about him. Ran across a box with some old memorabilia from HS days; photos, old friends including Bob, football games, dances at teen-ville, etc. Couldnt quite get rid of It yet.
Good things to keep for awhile longer.
Hoping Bobs family is doing well.

My heart king of skipped a beat when this email came through remembering Bob on the anniversary of his passing. He was such a dear and I am still saddened just thinking about him.
My heart goes out to his wife, children and grandchildren. Be happy for the life you had with him.
His HS friend from Oregon.

Some of you might appreciate some biographical information. Bob and I both grew up in Sheldon and graduated from Sheldon High School. We both went to the University of South Dakota, were members of Phi Delta Theta fraternity and ended up in Colorado. He was a great high school basketball player and a good golfer. I think he was the toughest football player I ever saw. Bob was on the varsity team at South Dakota, but dropped out and was recruited to play on the fraternity intramural team. He wasn't the biggest guy, but he played in the middle of the defensive line and absolutely destroyed everyone in his way and it wasn't just the guy blocking him. He would knock one guy completely over and do the same to anyone between him and the quarterback. Bob was a legend at the Phi Delt House. The strange thing is I don't ever remember talking to Bob. I was three years behind him in high school and college and sixty miles north in Colorado. The other thing that perked my interest was the entry just before mine in the guest book from Ray Underell of Auckland, New Zealand. Ray and I worked together for two years and it seems very strange that he is somehow connected to Bob. It's a small world.

He is missed already. Great discussions always lively debates. An honest man, who openly helped others. To Pat and his entire family, I'm sorry for your/our loss.
