Robert Griffin Obituary
Robert served his country as an aircraft flight engineer in the US Navy from 1959 to 1963. After service he attended Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA.
Robert's journey through life lead him on many adventures. His favorite childhood memories were spent at Spring Lake, NJ and visited there as recently as October 2015. Robert loved traveling, the outdoors, running, hiking, kayaking, biking, horseback riding, boating, and all animals. And he loved to chop wood when he ran of things to do. In 1978 he rode his motorcycle from Connecticut to Colorado Springs and then to the top of Pikes Peak. Regular trips to Colorado Springs began in 1994 to visit friends. Finally in 2007 after 38 years as a computer analysist he retired and moved from Croton-on-Hudson, to Colorado Springs.
A memorial service and reception will be held Sunday February 26th, 2:00-4:00PM at McKenzie Place Ballroom, 1605 Elm Creek View, Colorado Springs, CO. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (719-473-1741) in Robert's name.
