Robert "Hank" Hankins

Robert "Hank" Hankins passed away peacefully in Castle Rock, CO.

He was born in Willow Springs, MO to Ralph and Lois Hankins.



Hank attended school in Missouri and then receive his degree in Forestry at the University of Missouri. During college he met his sweetheart, Kay Kilpatric, they then married August 4th, 1955. From that marriage Hank and Kay had two sons, Rob & Tim.



After 31 years of service with IBM, Hank retired in 1990. He loved the beauty that the Colorado outdoors provided, where he spent his remaining years.



Also in 1990 he was blessed with his first granddaughter Lindsey and 5 years later, his second granddaughter Taylor, both from his son Tim.



A celebration of life will be at the American Legion Post 209 in Colorado Springs on August 7th, 2021 at 2:30pm. If interested in attending please call or email, Tim Hankins at 970-631-6446 or [email protected].

The Hankins were neighbors of ours, when I was a kid. I always thought Mr. Hankins and his wife, Kay, were some of the nicest people on our block. May he rest in peace.
