Robert Hauptman Obituary

Robert Hauptman was born October 22, 1934 to Winfred and Lucille Hauptman in Denver, Colorado. Bob died in his home on December 21, 2014 of complications of ALS. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carolyn. He is also survived by two aunts, several cousins, two sisters-in-law and many friends.

Bob grew up in Lakewood, Co. After graduating from Lakewood High School, he attended Denver University and the University of Illinois. He was drafted into the army in the late '50s and served in communications at SHAF headquarters outside of Paris, France. He joined his dad in Stewart Title in 1964 and worked in several Title offices before retiring.

Bob has been an active member of Sertoma for 49 years, and served as District Governor of the South Colorado District from 2006 to 2008. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol for 20 years. Bob enjoyed being a Skybox Marshall at the Castle Pines International Golf tournament for several years.

Services will be at the Evergreen Funeral Home, at 1:00 Saturday afternoon.

I'm a high school friend of Bob's and am sorry to hear of his death. Bernie soon enough to attend the service. Please know my prayers are with you. I lost my husband and have experienced the grief.
