SMSGT Robert Edward "Bob" Hicok obituary

Robert Hicok Obituary

Robert "Bob" Edward Hicok, 82, of Colorado Springs met his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, May 23rd.

Born September 18, 1934, Bob served 32 years in the U.S. Air Force as SMSGT at NORAD and did 11 tours, which were in the Korean and Vietnam Conflict, received two purple hearts, and held the rank of Lt. Col. with the Pikes Peak Senior Squadron Civil Air Patrol of Colorado. He was a member of the American Legion Post #5.

After his service, he opened Westsiders Garage, he had a passion of working and restoring vehicles. He loved flying, riding his motorcycles, outdoor activities like hunting and panning for gold.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Delores Hicok of Colorado Springs, brother Tom Hicok of San Diego, CA, sister Carol Hicok of Waxhaw, NC, Aunt Ruth of Princeville, IL, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by parents Charles and Inez Hicok, brothers Charles, John and James and sister Phylis.

Bob was buried with military honors at Fort Logan Cemetery.

He is deeply missed.
