Robert was a very good man to my sister and their sons as well as the rest of his family. He will be greatly missed. His entire family now has another guardian angel to watch over them. We all can have a little peace knowing Robert is no longer suffering or in pain and is once again whole.

When I was younger I idolized you. I would have followed you anywhere you went. I remember all the shopping trips we use to take and our picnics at Garden of the Gods (even if it was only once). The camping trip we took, all the time we spent up at Cheyenne Canyon, just having fun. All these years later I still find myself retreating to those places and reminiscing on the "good 'ole days". They were our special places, so what if everyone else goes there too! It's because of you that I have such an appreciation for nature and life in general. I loved going to your house, it was never a chore or something that I "had" to do, I honestly loved spending time with you. You were the light of my life. You became my security blanket and whenever I got scared I would run to you. You always had the right answer, even if it was wrong...
Thank you for being the only "father" I ever knew! I love you Grandpa and I can only hope that you are in a far better place now that we could only try and imagine the glorious mystique and majestic wonder it beholds. One day we all hope to join you, we must finish our own stories for now. Remember that there is a place for you in my heart and it's never going to fade. I love you!
