Robert Humiston Obituary
Robert enlisted in the Army Reserves and his unit was called up to Duty Station Germany in 1951. He was discharged from the Army in 1955, he than enlisted in the Air Force in 1955. Robert retired from the Air Force in 1974. He then became self-employed and owned a fence company from 1974 to 1975. He also worked for Digital Electronics from 1975 to 1977, FSI/Ford Aerospace/Lorel Service, and worked in Cheyenne Mountain from 1980 to 1998. Then with the State of Colorado Department of Corrections from 1988 to 1998.
Robert married Evelyn Fowler on August 31, 1957. They had four children David (Charleen), Paul (Liz), Tom (Paula), Martin (Tammy) and 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Robert was a great outdoorsman. He loved to hunt, fish, ATV and travelling into the mountains.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 3pm at First United Methodist Church in Fountain.
