Robert Klein Obituary

Bob leaves behind his beloved wife Carol, 4 children - Pamela Moses of Colorado, Deborah Murphy of South Carolina, Robert Patrick “Pat� Klein of Massachusetts, and Megan Barnett of Tennessee; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; 2 brothers - Lloyd Klein of New Mexico and Ronald “Jim� Klein of Texas. Bob was preceded in death by his stepdaughter Karen Strakbein and one grandchild. Bob proudly served in the US Navy. He attended La Junta Junior College, the University of Colorado in Boulder. He was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Fraternity, and finished his studies in Physics, Chemistry, and Math in 1946. He worked as a postal clerk at the La Junta Post Office and transferred to Colorado Springs Postal system in 1976, where he worked at many different offices. He retired in 1989 from the Post Office on Fountain and Academy. Bob will be missed by his family and many friends.
