Uncle Bob, Aunt Miriam and cousins were always so kind and hospitable when I would visit them in Colorado Springs. I will never forget Uncle Bob's sense of humor. He also had a way of making everyone around him feel safe. I remember we had to drive through a snowstorm and I wasn't afraid with Uncle Bob at the wheel. He was very proud of his family and for good reason. I'm sorry my family and I won't be there for the funeral. Aunt Miriam and all of my cousins will be in our thoughts and prayers and have our deepest sympathy.

I met Mark's father at his wedding to Liz and noted how wonderful & fun-loving the whole family was.

My dad, H Earnest Lehman, admired Bob greatly. They were first cousins. Since my dad was an only child by Bob's widowed Aunt Jeanne, the two spent a lot of time together growing up and as young adults. There is a story that soon after WWII Bob was lucky enough to buy a new car. He loaned it to Earnest who got into an accident. Earnest felt so guilty he decided to go back for another tour of duty as Merchant Marine. I haven't seen Bob and family for over 30 years, but express my deepest regrets and sympathy.
