To Bob's Loved Ones,
I have just learned that Bob passed away last August. Recent cards and emails to him went unanswered/cards returned; and there was no one to reach out to, to inquire about him. My husband, Dan, and I live in Spencerport, NY - but we inherited my parents' cottage in Sackets Harbor, NY and spend the warmer season there.
Bob and Betty were dear friends of my parents, John and Kay Stevens, who went to high school with Bob in Watertown, NY. Betty and Bob sold their cottage in Sackets Harbor to John and Kay in 1986, a handshake deal, and they remained close friends. Betty was a hoot, and she and my mother were close friends. Bob and their daughter, Judy, traveled here to Rochester to visit John at the facility where he resided the last five years of his life. I'm forever grateful to them both for making this effort to see him; and I know my dad felt the same way. (Kay died in 1999; John died in 2020.) Bob was a beautiful Soul; a good man who cared about others and loved his family - and dear Ellen, too. I feel peaceful in my Soul, knowing he is free from suffering and is reunited with those loved ones who have crossed over. God bless them all.
All this to say, I'm so sorry for your loss. It was my honor to call Bob a true friend these last 30 years or so, as well as Judy. Peace be with you, Jill Stevens
