Robert Kirkman McMain, Jr (Kirk) age 62, passed away on March 22 after battling a short illness in Colorado Springs. Beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and cousin. Kirk is survived by his wife Christine McMain of Colorado Springs,dog Rory, parents Marcella and Peter Ruch of Colorado Springs, Robert and Deanna McMain of Albuquerque, NM, sisters Melodie Breitkreutz (Dave) of Leoti, Kansas, Nancy Hedges(William) of Niceville, Florida, and Elizabeth (Thomas) Curran of Fishersville, Virginia, and brother Justin Moore-Ruch ofKailua-Kona, Hawaii. In addition, his step brothers David Ruch, Daniel Ruch, and Michael Ruch, Scott Rawlinson, and step sister Sharaine Roberts. He was also a treasured uncle, brother-in-law, and cousin to many.
Kirk, a longtime resident of Colorado Springs was known for his generosity, warmth, sense of humor and entrepreneurial spirit. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hiking, boating, camping, skiing and motorcycling. He had a huge circle of great friends and loved to entertain them. He travelled extensively both inside and outside the country. Kirk was the founder and owner of MCTV, an advertising company specializing in rural Colorado markets. Kirk may hold the record for concerts attended and vinyl collected, music stirred his soul.
A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at First United Methodist Church in downtown Colorado Springs.

We are so saddened to learn of Kirk's passing and have many happy memories of him and his warm and wonderful personality when we knew him as a youngster in Colorado Springs. Our prayers are lifted for all his family as you grieve your great loss.
