ROBERT "JERRY" MILLER
December 11, 1939 - June 30, 2018
Robert "Jerry" Miller of Colorado Springs, passed away peacefully at home on June 30, 2018. He was surrounded by his wife and two children.
Jerry was born on December 11, 1939 to Robert and Katherine Miller, who preceded him in death.
He started with the CSFD in 1968 and retired as a driver in 1993.
Jerry is survived by his wife of sixty years, Janet (Jan); his son, Dan; daughter, Sheri Demarais; brother, Terry (Sue); two sisters, Sharon Popp and Ellie Whitney; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service, 11:00AM, Tuesday, July 10, 2018. The Church on The Ranch, 3865 Jeannine Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80917.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to either the CSFD Museum, Honor Guard, or Hospice.

The morning after the Waldo Canyon Wildfire came into the city Jerry called in a favor to his Firefighter family who rolled a truck to our cul-de-sacof the 19 homes that were on our street, 4 were still standing, the first being ours...he was our very own hero that day and Firefighters will forever be our heroes!
