Robert Paulson Obituary

Robert "Bob" Paulson, age 79, a Native of Colorado Springs, Colorado entered into rest December 8, 2014. A devoted employee, he worked for the United States Postal Service for 43 years and was a United States Army Veteran.



Bob was born on February 5, 1935 in Del Norte, Colorado to Walter Henry Paulson and Elizabeth Mae (Woodruff) Paulson. At the age of 17, he entered the Army and began his world travels and independence.



Bob had many interests. From a very young age he loved cars. He also enjoyed the Denver Broncos, opera, appreciated a good ale, fine cigars, rifles, and traveling. Bob was also a member of the National Rifle Association for many years.



Bob is survived by two loving nieces: Karla Heckaman of Colorado Springs, and Carol Voris of Del Norte, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his two sisters: Helen Heckaman, and Mary Kathryn Paulson (husband Bill) Morse.



A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel. Reception to follow at The Olympian Plaza Reception and Event Center.



In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's name to The National Rifle Association.

I worked in the Post Office with Bob, we spent many of our work breaks together, had lunch quite a few times with him. He was a great guy and I enjoyed his company.

Bob was a regular visitor at Mondino Imports and have become good friends over the years. His visits will be missed by us all and send we our best wishes to his family.
