Robert A. (Bob) Shute passed away on February 14, 2024 - with family at his bedside following a short illness. Bob is survived by his wife of 52 years, Elizabeth L (Becky) Shute, four daughters and multiple grandchildren.

Bob was born July 28, 1933 in Unity, New Hampshire. Following graduation, Bob enlisted in the U.S. Army obtaining the rank of First Sergeant before his retirement in 1984. Bob served in Korea, Vietnam and Germany and was the recipient of the Bronze Star and Legion of Merit. Bob enjoyed skiing, snow shoeing and golf both before and after retirement and was an avid Volksmarcher.

He always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. He always asked how the boy was (Andy) when ever I saw him. I remember he always ate an apple every day. We will miss him.
