Robert A. Slack of Fountain, Colorado, went to be with his Lord on March 3, 2021 at the age of 87. Robert was born on September 18, 1933 in Black Hills, South Dakota to parent Herman and Inez Slack of Beaverton, Oregon who proceed him in death. He had two sisters and one brother, Betty Dennis, brother, Glenn Slack who proceed him and sister, Patricia Kuhrt, who survives.
Robert served 20 years in the US Army serving two tours in Vietnam with the 1st Air Calvary, receiving numerous awards and medals. Robert retired in 1976 moving to Colorado and making it his home.
Robert is survived by the love of his life Isburg S. Slack; his three children; Linda Butler, Michael Slack and Richard Slack; five grandchildren, Amanda Bonsaint, Robert Pinello, Katie Slack, Brittany Slack, who survive him and Romain Bonsaint who proceeds him. Two great-grandsons Michael Bonsaint and Landon Bonsaint. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Rosary will be said at 12pm then service at 12:30 pm at Dove-Witt family Mortuary on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 a committal service at 2pm at Memorial Gardens, following the committal a celebration of his life will be held at the Coroner Pocket 6502 S. 85-87 Widefield, Colorado.
