Robert Speer

October 25, 2021

Robert (Bob) Speer of Colorado Springs went to be with the Lord October 25. He is survived by his wife Beverly, three sons Gregory (Gale), Stephen and Michael and two brothers Jack and Doug. He was the proud grandfather of Taylor, Kelsey and Cameron. Bob was a graduate of Colorado College (and an avid Tiger hockey fan) Bob was passionate about his family. At 84 years old he was still trading and advising clients in the commodities markets. He will be missed by all who knew him. Services will be held on November 6 at First Presbyterian Church at 10:30am. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Deacons Fund at First Presbyterian Church.

Bob was my older brother. As kids I followed him everywhere. As adults he was a wonderful friend and companion as we went to many CC hockey games together. Our whole family will miss him greatly. Rest In Peace Bob.

I´ve known Bob since we were 6years old, growing up on the same block in Ivywild! We went to the same schools, and our families were good friends. I´ll miss his big smile and hugs when we would see each other at First Pres.
