Robert Thacker Obituary

Robert C. Thacker, 80, passed away July 6, 2008. He was born January 27, 1928 to Andrew and Ida (Miller) Thacker in Huntingburg, IN. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ed, Bill and Red and sisters, Rosalee and Marie. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Irmgard (Lotsch) Thacker; adopted daughter, Teresa Thacker; foster daughter, Cynthia Nixon; brother, Fred Thacker as well as several nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. There will be a viewing on Thursday, July 10th from 4-7pm at Dove-Witt Fountain Valley Chapel, 6630 S. Hwy 85/87, Fountain, CO. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 11th, 10am at Dove-Witt Fountain Valley Chapel. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pikes Peak Hospice in Robert's memory.

Wanted to let you know how sorry I was to hear of Uncle Bob's passing. I'm so glad we visited with him this past winter. We really enjoyed the visit. We also used to really enjoy when he came to visit us in the past. He will be missed.
