Hey dad it's me again. Well some news. We have a date set for tommey and I to get married. It is next year 6/3/2025. I have to get a dress and also we are doing marriage classes too. Jessika and everyone says hi. Just wanted to share the update. Love and miss you always. Your kid Rebekah

Wow dad still miss you ever day well update I'm engaged. Can you believe it. I'm finally getting married. We will have an open seat for you at the front. I think you would approve of him. Also jessika found a boyfriend that I approve of he has a good head on his shoulders. He has a job to which is good and he drives as well. Anyhoo I/we miss you every day. Thank you fir the butterfly that we seen at the Penny arcade. We went to you favorite shop there too. I didn't want to go in because of memories but I did anyway. I lost it cause this dude had the same cologne as you did. It was a bitter sweet moment. This year there not doing fireworks at the park but they haven't done it a couple of years now. These are the thing I remember of you dad. All our hikes, lessons learned, steps taken to never get back. I go hiking a lot, taking photos and think of our trails.

The pain of missing you, well that will never disperse, it only gets easier for the most part until like today when someone says "Hey son, I love you." But it's not you, just someone talking on their phone. I write all the time, it helps me cope. Still though, I would kill to see your face again or hear your voice. I'll see you soon enough dad. Love you.

Well a new year has begun can't believe it has been so long dad guess what I have met someone took me what about 14 years but I have found someone that I want to be with and he feels the same way can you believe it I can't. It don't seem real ya know. You would have liked him I know he would have liked you to. I love and miss you with loveyour kid Rebekah

Well can you believe it another year another Christmas we have the tree up and guess what this year I surprised everyone and I got all my Christmas shopping done before Thanksgiving lol I can't belive I did that well we all love an miss you.

Hey dad just wanted to say hi and we love you. Also wanted to tell you we got another dog after Macy you would have loved her Gretta Jewls. We had to put her down because of a tumor on her bladder. But she lived a long and loved filled life. We have a new dog now her name is Snickers. O my goodness dad she is a spitfire. I think you would have loved her too any ways we still miss you. My Birthday is coming up. Can you believe it. I'm going to be 42 and still single lol. Ok by for now love ya ❤

I miss you.
Even though it has been over ten years, sometimes I swear it feels like yesterday.
I thought it was going to get easier and I guess it had in a way but still, some days I think of our hikes and drives and breakfast and I just can't stop crying. The other day I was sitting on my balcony and as the sun touched me I thought of your warm hugs.

I was at work and it looked liked it was Dad day because there were lots of them husbend with wife and kids daughter and Dads it made me so upset to see the other people to them with there dad and I cant be with mine till I come home?! What a blessing Bob & Dorothy were to us when we moved just two doors down from them in Pontiac and the year was 1975. Grew to love both of them very much and thank God for the friendship I still hold dear. My thoughts and prayers are with Dorothy and the children. Love them all very much.

Wow I cant beleieve it has been a little over a year since you went home to be with Jesus. You where a very loved man, and you are missed very much. My favorite memory of you was how you would always tell me to leave a quarter when I had to borrow the restroom or telephone. So always remember to leave a quarter. My love and prayers go out to the Vining family. :)

I will always remember Mr. Vining as a Encouraging person. He was a very nice person and I was greatful to know him when i was growing up.

My heart is still sad,even after a year in a few days that you have gone home to be with Jesus. I miss you so........ much. But as always ,sad but true , life does go on. I love the many many good memories that we had together the whole forty-two years we were married. The spurr of the moment trips that you said would be only a couple of hour that turned into five hours, the silly things that you would do, and most of all just being there. Love Dorothy
