Robert Wynn Obituary
Bob was an Army Special Forces Soldier and served in Vietnam. Bob's awards and decorations include, but are not limited to: the Air Medal, Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart, the Meritorious Service Medal, and the Special Forces Tab.
Bob was a caring soul who was always there to give love and guidance to his family and friends. He passed on his abundant knowledge to those willing to learn from his vast intelligence. An avid motorcyclist and dedicated member of the Special Forces Association, his energy and willingness to contribute to veterans needs and the needs of the community was never ending.
Bob was preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by his loving wife Stephanie, son Christopher and daughter Kelly, brothers John and Thomas.
Visitation will be held at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E. Platte Ave, Tuesday, June 17 at 10:00am with Memorial Service to follow 11:00am. Interment with full military honors will follow services at 12:45pm to be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Special Forces Association, http://sfa4-24.org/, or the Green Beret Foundation, http://www.greenberetfoundation.org/.

I knew Bob in high school in Virginia, he wrote to me from the war and I only saw him once when he came home....I have been praying for him and his family for years without knowing anything about them, and tears fell when I found this notice of his departure yesterday. I am sure your hearts must still ache with his absence, so I will continue to pray

I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:"Whom shall I send,and who will go for Us?" Then I said, "Here am I! Send me." My brother, my mentor, my friend.I still cannot believe you are gone.Such a void you left,but i am comforted that now you are at peace, no more pain.We will ride again one day,up that mountain,two old war dogs on our Indians. Steph, Kelly, and Chris, my heartfelt condolences. he was a great man! I will miss him every day.Love you all< Ed and family
