Robert Zeh Obituary

April 17, 1935-March 5, 2008. Robert A. "Bob" Zeh, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1964, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at his home. He was retired from the United States Air Force. Robert was born on April 17, 1935 in Schenectady, New York to the late Jesse and Sarah (McDonald) Zeh. After high school, he attended and graduated from Education Institute of the America Hotel and Motel Association and El Paso Community College. He served his country as a medic in the Armed Forces and was a Vietnam veteran. This man of faith loved classical music, railroad trains, and dogs. He is survived by his loving companions: "Cleo" and "Scottie." He is also survived by his brother: Bill Panczner of Clearwater, Florida, his former wife: Maria Zeh of Colorado Springs; his caregivers: Helen DeYoung, Minnie Mondragon, Henrietta Madrid and Carolyn Madrid-Sanchez; his step-children: Gary (wife, Maryann) Mauser, Mary Mauser and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00–7:00 PM on Tuesday evening at the Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses. Burial will take place at the Old Stone Fort Cemetery in Schoharie, New York. Memorials may be made to the Prison Fellowship International, PSI Secretariat–Washington, DC PO Box 17434, Washington, DC 20041 or to the Springs Rescue Mission, PO Box 2108, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80901.

Bob was always my big brother. Even though we lived miles apart he was always with me in mind and spirt. I will never forget my brother and he will always be with me. His road through life was rough, but now he is at peace
