Roberta (Bertie), a woman of extraordinary warmth, love, and kindness, departed from this world on December 1, 2023 in Colorado Springs, CO.
Born on June 15, 1937, in Scandia, Pennsylvania. She was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, grandmother, aunt and cherished friend, leaving an indelible impact on the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Roberta's marriage to her beloved spouse, Charles Schmidt, was a testament to enduring love and partnership of 66 years.
As a mother, Roberta poured her heart and soul into raising her children, Kimberly and Karla.
She loved her son-in-law David, Karla's partner Robin, granddaughters, Kourtney and Kendall and her great grandchildren Karley, Nolan, Kamryn and Nia with all her heart.
A celebration of Roberta's life will be held on December 12, 2023 at 10 am at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80910 with a reception and burial to follow at the Pikes Peak National Cemetery.
Please wear pink in honor of Roberta.
