Rodger Thornton Obituary

After enjoying a full life for 83 years, local businessman Rodger Thornton passed away January 9, 2008. He was born March 29, 1924 to Earl and Elizabeth Thornton. Rodger was a life-time fisherman and lover of wildlife, and is suvived by his children Sandy, Rodger and Todd and grandchildren Jeff, Holly, Keri, Sevren, Day, Kaley, Chase, Jaryd and Emma as well as his faithful dog, Morgan. A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, January 23, at 2:00pm at First Presbyterian Church, where he was an active member. Remembrances may be made to the church.
