Rodolfo "Fito" Sanchez
August 4, 1925 - October 1, 2017
Rodolfo "Fito" Sanchez, 92, of Colorado Springs, CO. passed away on October 1, 2017. Rodolfo was born on August 4, 1925 to the late Silvano and Beatrice Sanchez in Chama, Colorado. He worked for many years as a cement finisher. He is survived by his son Michael (Becky) Sanchez, daughter Darlene Sanchez, 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in passing by the love of his life, wife Criseria Sanchez, and son's Ted, Max and Rudy, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.
A Rosary will be held Friday, October 6, 2017 at 10:30 a.m., with Funeral Mass to be conducted at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe 2715 E. Pikes Peak Ave, Colorado Springs, CO., 80909; he will be laid to rest following services at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

I just learned of Rudy's passing this morning. Michael and Darlene and all the family, We are so sorry for your loss. My prayers for Rudy and all the family. I will always remember your dad when he would come and sit with my mother Cruzita Peralta and I on the porch at mom's house. He even sang a hymn for us in Spanish. He always talked lovingly of his children and wife. He is resting in peace now. God Bless him.

Cousins Michael, Becky and Darlene and Families, our deepest condolences to all of you for your loss. My Tio and Tia always welcomed us into their home. The were very special people. I don't know your family, but Mr. Sanchez seemed like a wonderful man. I was very touched by the family photos and his kindly smile. I am also impressed by his legacy of numerable grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Truly a blessed man and a blessed family. May you find comfort in your memories.

I am very sorry for your lost. I too have lost a loved one close to me and can imagine how difficult this time is for you and your family; but its uplifting to know that God promises us in Isaiah 65:17 that there is a near future in which we will no longer feel such pain. This as helped me and I hope it helps you as well.
