It was an honor to have worked with Roger during my years in ASI's proposal department, and remain his friend after my move to Seattle. He was a bright star that made the world a better place, and he will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. My deepest symapthies to you all.

Dear Karena, Kim, Karl, Kenny & Kris,
Just a note to tell you how sorry I am to hear about your Dad. He was such a neat guy but that you know. I remember his peanut brittle every Christmas--yummy, yummy. His sense of humor was great too. I am sorry I could not make the funeral but I had a funeral yesterday and couldn't get off work again. You are in my prayers and thoughts. Lean on each other and be there for each other and share your memories--laugh and cry and remember all the good times--that will help get you through.
My love to all of you and to all the little people too

Now there is a space in our lives left unfilled
A ray missing from each sunset on our small planet
I can see that even from here near the equator
Our memories of you-warm, caring, kind at heart-will help fill the void
Shine down on us, Roger, we need you still.
Thanks for being the kind cousin...

Roger you are in a much better place. For everyone left behind your passing will leave a gap in our community of friends. To those of us at ASI you were and always will be MR. E. Some of my most precious photos were taken by you and will now hold even more meaning. Thank you Roger for all you gave. Till we meet again.
