Roger Neff Obituary
Roger Neff, 46 of Idaho formerly from Lehighton, passed away on Tuesday, November 12 in Idaho. He was born in Lehighton. He was the son of Ronald Pitt Neff and Mrs. BettyAnn Petko and stepfather Edward Petko. He was the husband of Christine (Rolvenick) Neff. Roger graduated from Lehighton High School in 1985. He excelled in football and received numerous awards in his wrestling career. He was a wrestling coach in Jim Thorpe and North Idaho College. He attended East Stroudsburg University. He worked for Dave Smith Motors in Idaho. Survivors: Surviving are brothers, Glen and wife Debra of New Jersey, Greg and wife Tammy of Lehighton; two nephews, Jarred and Tyler Neff; four stepbrothers; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Services: Memorial services Saturday, December 7 at St. Johns Evangelical Lutheran Church of Towamensing, 2915 Fireline Road, Palmerton at 11 a.m. Call 10-11 a.m. Saturday. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Roger Neffs name to your local SPCA.

My deepest condolences to Roger's family. I have many memories growing up as a child with Roger in Franklin, then high school and all his efforts as a great wrestler and football player. Truly saddened to hear of his passing. Wishing we could have strolled down memory lane for a few laughs, as I smile just thinking of some of those times with my sisters and other neighborhood kids. RIP Roger.

Rogers dad Pitt was my best childhood friend growing up in Palmerton,Pa. Although I never met Roger, while visiting his dad in May 2013 Pitt spoke very highly of Roger and was very proud of his accomplishments and was looking forward to visiting Roger in the near future.My thoughts and sorrow is felt for Pitt and Rogers family at this time.
