Before Ron was Thom Stovern's protector at South, he was mine in grade school and at East. In high school I had his back (way back) in several fights at Howdy Pard, et.al. Fond memories of a memorable man. My best to the family.

Way back in the mid-1950s, Ron was my friend and protector at South Junior High School. Tough guys wouldn't touch me if they knew that Ron Osbourn would soon be on their trail. I certainly appreciated his willingness to back me up, and I'll always treasure his memory. My heartfelt sympathies go out to Ruth and the family. God bless you, Ron. You'll be sorely missed.
