Ron & Sharon were such a special couple; I am so very glad that you & Chris were so close and we all love you. What fun we all have had; my heart goes out to you, Sharon, and the rest of the family because Ron will be missed so much. He is in a much better place now and in no more pain, but the rest of us will take time to heal.

Rarely has there been a couple been as blessed to find each other as Ron and Sharon. When I think of the meaning of "marriage", it is easy to think of them.

Remember Sharon, it was not into his ear you whispered but into his heart. It was not his lips you kissed, but his soul. Love always....

Ron will always be remembered as a genuine friend, a dedicated co-worker, and a true joy just to be with. All of the years supporting the Titan program, the Viking missions, and even the short Space Shuttle diversion in California - what marvelous memories. The Lord privaledged us with Ron's presence, and now He has called him to His side. We will grieve for our loss, but celebrate Ron's life journey.

Ron's wry sense of humor was such a joy! He could say it all using just a few words, and a look to convey his thoughts. It was a blessing for me to see the beautiful relationship Ron and Sharon had together. That is truly what a marriage is all about. Ron will be truly missed.

Ron was loved by all in the family. We will miss him dearly. He made us all laugh when he would look at his watch and announce just how long it took us to get to our favorite topic at mealtimes. He helped so many in the family by hauling whatever, bookshelves, furniture, clothes and more from one state to another. I will especially miss our camping trips together. Yes, Ron and Sharon are loved deeply.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

I have so many great memories of time spent with Ron and Sharon, including snowmobiling, boating, Hawaii, Port Aransas. Ron also always rolled his eyes when he knew Sharon and I were going shopping or going to garage sales because he knew what the results would be, but he loved to give us a hard time. He was also a great one for his "dumb jokes." He was such a wonderful guy and he loved all the animals and children. I will miss him sorely, and my heart goes out to Sharon and his family.
