My husband, Jim, and I both worked with Ron at US West. He was always smiling and we enjoyed many years of knowing him at work and play. We were so sorry he had to suffer so, but he surely fought a good battle. He will be missed.

To Ron's family:

I am sorry for your loss but grateful that I had the opportunity to know and work with Ron at U S WEST. He set the standard for customer care which was simply an extension of how he cared for everyone he touched in his life. His cheerfulness and "can do" attitude taught me a lot. We all benefited from his example.

Ron will be truly missed but certainly not forgotten. He was one of the best when it came to friends and co-workers. He always helped out when there was a situation where the phone company (Mountain Bell)was needed to respond to an emergency situation or even as a friend, when recently he stopped and helped out in Monument, CO. (Qwest) after my truck had stalled and I was stranded in the middle of Hwy-#105 and the I-25 overpass. I spoke with Ron just a short time ago and he had stated that he was in Albquerque, N.M. and that's the last time I had spoken with him. What a super person and a true friend. I will never forget him and all the things he had done for others, including myself, along the way. I had met him when I worked with him at various locations as a trouble lineman for Colorado Springs Utilities Electric Division, back in the day.

Deepest sympathy and condolences to the Ron Suiter family. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

It is with great sadness to hear of Ron’s passing. I’ve known Ron since the mid-80s when we worked together during the building of his beautiful home in Crystal Hills, and we also enjoyed the pleasure of being neighbors. I enjoyed his gentle spirit, loving kindness, and laughter. It was not easy to see him battle with his weakened physical being, but his powerful and determined personal strength so often won over the weaknesses he encountered. It was always obvious how much his family meant to him – I know he will be greatly missed by many family and friends. He is free of his physical “chains” – we will hold dear the wonderful memories we have of Ron.
