Mattingly
Rosemary A Mattingly
August 27,1935 - April 19, 2018
Rosie (Hyatt) Mattingly, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in San Antonio, TX. She was born on August 27, 1935.
Rosie Graduated from Lorretto Heights College in Denver, CO. She worked for the CO. Dept of Health & In private practice.
Many people in the area remember Rosie greeting them with a warm smile at the Woodland Park post office, where she was a clerk in the 1970's.
She and her husband of 30 years, John Mattingly, retired to Fort Clark Springs in 1991 and spent summers in Divide, CO.
Rosie didn't know a stranger, everyone was welcome in her world of love and laughter. She was a member of every committee at Fort Clark and starred in local theatre productions. She passed away peacefully on April 17th, preceded by husband, Reginald (Bud) Hyatt, Father, Leman Young, Mother, Dula Young, Sister, Annie Starr, and many friends and loved ones.
No doubt she is planning an ice cream social in Heaven right now.
Survived by her husband, John, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, beloved brothers, nieces, nephews and many, many friends, you were all loved and cherished.
Cherish her memory with a donation to Wounded Warrior Project, PO BOX 758516 Topeka, KS 66675. No flowers please - RECYCLE
