Roy Ballesteros was surrounded by the love of his family and friends when he peacefully passed away on February 4, 2023. Roy was born on March 4, 2023 to his parents Frances and Leonel Ballesteros. Roy is preceded in death by his father Leonel and was raised by his mother Frances. Roy grew up in a large loving household with his five siblings. Roy had a long career at the Air Force Academy as a heavy equipment operator where he met many lifelong friends including his best friend Ricky Rodriguez Jr. For those who knew Roy, know that he had an infectious laugh and a generous heart. Roy came from a long line of musicians and he shared his love for music through DJ'ing. Roy's love for his family and friends will be felt for an eternity and he will forever be in our hearts.
Roy is survived by his wife Kristel Ballesteros, children Chantelle Frazier (Neil), Joshua Ballesteros, Bronté Gumataotao, and Mitchell Gumataotao (Aria), his grandchildren Aaliyah, Inina, Britton, Beckett, and Aurelia.
Roy is also survived by his mother Frances Ballesteros, siblings John Ballesteros (Christine), Rudy Ballesteros, Alfred Ballesteros (Cynthia), Pammy Ballesteros, and Tammy Soden (Robert), as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

There are no words to express our sadness for you all. I always loved hearing Kristel's stories about Chloe and Roy. He was such a giant teddy bear and I know he will be deeply missed. Lots of love and prayers to you all.
