Roy Wheeler Obituary

On Friday, July 2, 2021, Roy Wheeler, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 72.
Roy was born on May 24, 1949 in Grand Rapids, MI to Norman and Yeteve (Rayburn) Wheeler. On January 3, 1970, he married Anna Griswold. They welcomed a son, Steven E on November 5, 1971. He retired from the Air Force in 1991 after twenty two years of service. He then spent many years as an inventory control consultant to several manufacturing companies in the Pike's Peak region.
Roy had a passion for Cowboy Action Shooting and in partnership with his friends brought Cowboy Action Shooting to the Front Range. Roy was competitive even with his friends and won many awards. He also loved spending time with his two granddaughters teaching them how to fish and shoot.
Roy was preceded in death by his father, Norman, and his mother, Yeteve. He is survived by his wife Anna, his son, Steven, Steven's wife Courtney and his two granddaughters, Alyssa and Kristin.
