Ruby Pratt Obituary
Ruby lived in North Carolina, Washington DC, Fort Richardson, Alaska, and Fort Knox, Kentucky before settling in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She loved to travel. Ruby worked and retired from Fort Carson AAFES (Army, Air Force, Exchange Service.)
Ruby was a long time member of Friendship Baptist church of Colorado Springs and a member of the Mission choir and Sunday school. She and her husband coordinated a Pastor's anniversary in 2007.
She was pre-deceased by siblings Lois Alexander, Lessie Miller, Clemont Linney, Faye Pemberton, Fred Linney,and Jimmie Linney.
She is survived by her husband James Pratt, Jr., of Colorado Springs, children Jacqueline K. King of Colorado Springs, Pamela I. Trent (Stanley) of Nashville, Tennessee, and Reginald Pratt of Colorado Springs; grandchildren Jerome Pratt, Renaldo Jenkins, Monique King, and Micheal King; great-grandchildren Saniyah King, Jazzmine'Rain Pratt, Micheal King, Jr.; sisters Gladys Campbell, Purney Gray, Mildred Linney;and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 30th at Friendship Baptist Church, 633 E Dale Street. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

To the Pratt family I am so sorry for your loss. Friendship has loss a true soldier for the Lord. I will miss her beautiful smile. Mrs Pratt and I had a special thing between us every time she saw me she would say "HI my GLAMOUR GIRL" with that special smile and I would call her my BEAUTIFUL LADY. I will miss her.
