Rudolph Caddy Obituary

CSM Rudolph Frank Caddy Ret., age 82, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather was called to eternal rest on Jan. 5th, 2012 in Colorado Springs, CO. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Marie Caddy. His surviving children are: Randy Caddy, Darin Caddy , Holly Forsythe, Susan Wekamp and Hazel Swift .Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, also many family members all over the world. He served in the United States Army until honorably discharged after 27 years with several tours of duty in Viet Nam, Korea and Germany. Following his military career he worked for Academy Life and was a lifetime NCOA member . Rudy loved spending time with his family. His hobbies were reading, going to movies and the Ft. Carson PX. He was a member of St. Joseph's church at Southgate. A memorial service is scheduled Tuesday, Jan. 10th 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Shrine of Remembrance, at 1730 East Fountain Blvd. In Colorado Springs, CO. A viewing will be held at 9 a.m. before the service. A private entombment will follow the service for family members.

Dear Caddy Family,

My sincere thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time.
I have known Rudy for 11 years and always looked forward for his dental appointment so that he could tell me all about his time in the service. He will be missed by all who knew him.
