Russ you will be greatly missed. I remember all the good times we had when you went fishing and camping with us. You were always a blast to be around and a great friend to the family. I hope that tonight you are resting peacefully in Heaven watching over those who love you. Rest in Peace.

I spent a lot of my youth summers staying with the Abeyta's. It was always a good time spending time with Uncle Russ and the family. You will be deeply missed by everyone you knew. Rest in Peace Uncle Russ.

I am so sorry to hear about the death of Russ. He was like an uncle to me and my kids, They loved him so much. Our heart are broken over the loss of such a great person. You will forever be missed by those hearts you have touched.

I didn't know Russell, but my brother Harold talked about him all the time. I heard a lot of great stories about the two of them, and I am glad that they were best friends, and as my brother said, Russell was his family. Rest in Peace Russell.

It has been quite a few years since I have seen my Uncle but the memories are still there. When I was young we spent a lot of time together. I remember him coming down and spending time with our family. It's been awhile but the love remains Uncle Russ! May you sleep with the angels now. My sympathy to my Dad (Mark) and the rest of the family. God Bless you all!

Russ was a very generous and loving man. He would do anything for anyone. I spent a lot of time with he and his family while I was growing up. I will miss him dearly but am glad to have all of the happy memories.
