Russell A. Foster died on September 24, 2022 in Flowery Branch, Georgia, after battling multiple health issues. His mother Gloria Foster of Colorado Springs and his sister Robin Huffman of Corning, California survive him. His father Richard Foster and brother Ronald Foster preceded him in death. He was uncle to Miles Huffman of Chico, California. He was a nephew of Thomas and Judy Foster of Wichita, Kansas. He is also survived by several cousins and by his fiance Risa Kronenwetter of Flowery Branch, Georgia.
Russell was born on July 4, 1964 in the U.S. Army post in Kaiserslautern, Germany. As a child he moved with his family, with military assignments. Russ studied business at the University of Maryland in Munich and later received a credential in computer programming. Russell's career began in Heidelberg, Germany. He worked for various major corporations, from Killeen, Texas, to Colorado Springs. When Russell became engaged, he moved to Flowery Branch, Georgia.
Throughout his life, Russ loved to travel and to ski with friends and family. He also enjoyed coin collecting and driving his sports car.
A memorial service will be held in the Meditation Glen at 11:00 AM on December 9, 2022 at the Broadmoor Community Church, 315 Lake Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80906. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Broadmoor Community Church.
