Ruth E. Bjustrom
1926 - 2017
Ruth Bjustrom passed away November 9, 2017 in Colo-rado Springs at 91 years. She was born on March 28, 1926 in Boone, Iowa, as the daughter of Minnie and William Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Gretchen Johnson and Ann Schmalz.
Ruth was married on June 30, 1946 to C. Glenn Bjustrom. They consider their marriage of 71 years and their time with their children a blessing.
Ruth enjoyed the theater. She played the piano and wrote music. Her most favored piece was "He Has No Hands but Mine". She truly loved God with all her heart.
We loved Colorado Springs and our new home at: Morning Star at Mountain Shadows, 5355 Centennial Blvd. #214, Colorado Springs, CO 80919
Services will be held on: Saturday November 18th, at 10AM At: Evergreen Funeral Home, Fountain Blvd. & Union Blvd. Colorado Springs, CO
Burial at Evergreen Cemetery Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Well the Smith family will miss you greatly. There are plenty of memories and stories of Ruth, Glenn, Bill and Verle on the fish banks. Fourth of July and the bottle rockets flying. Ruth you were such a good cook and friend. Bill and Verle Smith love your family so much. We will miss the beautiful smile and warm hugs.
