Ruth Hubble Obituary

July 19, 1927-March 7, 2006 Ruth I. Hubble, age 78, a Colorado Springs resident since 1964, passed away on March 7, 2006 in Colorado Springs. She was born on July 19, 1927 in Burlington, KS, a daughter of the late Roy and Pearl First Myers. Ruth was an avid artist, having painted several of her own paintings. She enjoyed playing golf and gardening, and loved animals and the outdoors. She was active in her writing club and numerous other clubs and had been a volunteer at the hospital. Ruth was also involved with the restoration project in Manitou Springs. She is survived by her three children: Michael (Patty) Northern of Colorado Springs, Diana (Jim) Winter of Morrison, CO, Pamela (Gary) Steel of Colorado Springs and New Zealand, one sister; Vera Krumrey of Dodge City, KS, six grandchildren: Erica Winter, Andrea Cabellero, Jessica Winter, Jinny Winter, Austin Northern, Ashli Northern, nine great grandchildren: Lucas, Olivia, Aidan, Maya, Gabriel, Taylor, Bayley, Nakai and James. She was also preceded in death by two husbands; Seth Northern and William D. Hubble. Memorial services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 17, 2006 at Blunt Mortuary Chapel, 2229 W.
