Ruth, we didn't get much time to together, me being here in New Zealand, and you over there. The time I had with you though was very precious, and I came to know you, your house and your garden as a place of peace and love. I will remember you through Pamela, and had it been longer, I would have been proud to call you 'mum'.

Ruth was a great neighbor when we shared a corner of our fence on Brookside St. We will miss her waving and saying hello from her back yard. A gracious lady and friend.
