Ruth Leff Obituary

Ruth Ann Leff has gone home to her Lord and Savior. She departed this earth on July 10, 2013. She was born in Nebraska but lived happily married to the late Doyle H. Leff for many years in Colorado Springs. Her Christian faith and her family were her loves. She enjoyed foreign travel, literature, painting, cooking and loved teaching. She retired from Harrison School Dist. 2, specializing in elementary reading. She is survived by her children: Terry Walker-Wasmund (Don), Steven D. Leff (Donna), Diane K. Perry (Stephen), Stacy L. Fabian (Eric); eleven grandchildren: Juli Sholar, Erik Walker, Ariel Walker, Caroline Wasmund, Tommy Wasmund, Tamara Johnson, Jennifer Leff, Cameron Perry, Blake Perry, Grant Fabian, Taylor Fabian; four great-grandchildren: Devin Leff, Ethan Johnson, Walker Sholar, Nash Perry; her sister, Betty; and brothers, Max and Rex. Services will be held on Sat., July 13th at First Christian Church, 16 E. Platte Ave., Colorado Springs at 1:00 p.m. Viewing at the church will be from 10:30 a.m.-1:00.
