Ruth Pech Obituary

September 6, 1911-May 26, 2008 Ruth E. Pech passed away May 26, 2008, at her home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born September 6, 1911, in LeMars Iowa to Arthur J. and Josephine Marx. She was married to George (Red) Pech for 56 years with whom she had 5 children: Robert (Bob) Pech of Sioux City, Iowa, Richard (Dick) Pech of Ogden, Utah, JoAnn Leek of Park Rapids, Minnesota, Linda Cosden of Hob Sound, Florida and Randy Pech of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is survived by 12 grandchildren, 23 Great-grandchildren, 5 Great- great-grandchildren, a sister Madeline (Midge) Masuen of Escondido, California. She was predeceased by her husband Red Pech, her son Dick Pech and her grandson Tony Pech of Sioux City Iowa. Ruth was a selfless person who always put the needs of her family before her own. After her family was raised she worked outside the home where she enjoyed a 20 year career selling woman apparel. Her lifelong interest centered on her family and home. Hers was a life well lived, she will be dearly missed. A visitation will be held on Saturday June 7, 2008 from 1-2 pm at Swan-Law Chapel 501 N. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs 80903. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday June 7, 2008 at Swan-Law Chapel.

So sorry to hear about Ruth's passing. I remember all the times Randy, Steve and I spent at the Pech house and how we would drop in on Mrs. Pech at May D & F when she was working. She was a wonderful person and will be dearly missed.
