To The Swain Family,
May it comfort you to know that Ruthie´s story published in God´s Chicken Soup, about visiting the zoo and watching the gazelles, has had a huge impact on my life. Reading her advice to the antler-entangled gazelle was like hearing God speak directly to my heart saying, "Bow your head down close to the ground and back out gently."
I am having trouble relating to a family member and, since reading Ruthie´s story, have backed out, bowed my head and asked God to fight this battle on my behalf, bringing reconciliation and restoration.
Although I didn´t know this wonderful woman I certainly appreciate Ruthie´s wisdom. God Bless you all.
